Phew! First demo done. Now, its time to reflect on all that we have been doing since the start of the project. Starting with the long documents, more and more time was spent as a group, trying to initiate the project and as well as planning for it.
Secondly, the development of the app, ArchiTec for our clients, wasn't a walk in the park , as expected. Finally, the first demonstration, covering points such as the project requirements, hard copy maps, the functionalities of the app and some videos showing how the app works.
Looking back I wish I would change a few things that happened and how we as a group could have done better in terms of communication.I, myself, am not so good at communicating. When I encounter a problem, I get stressed a lot, instead of talking about it to my group members. I do this because I have fear that I just might appear dumb or stupid for saying "I don't know how to do this, please help me."
Well, it is said that you can't change the past but can change the future by fixing the present. To all the groups that are still to experience GMT, communication is key. My advice is GMT is group work not individual work. The other person's weaknesses might be the other's strengths. Figure that out and you will work well together , as a group.
